Coastal Rowing Academy

The Coastal Rowing Academy is a centre for learning about all forms of coastal rowing. We are based on the south coast on Hayling Island with access to Langstone &, Chichester Harbours and the Solent. We offer: 1: fixed seat sweep-oared rowing in 6-oared Cornish Pilot Gigs; 4-oared St Ayles Skiffs; singles and double sculling in Salter Skiffs. 2) sliding seat rowing in World Rowing (FISA) boats in singles, double and coxed quads. 3) Coaching in all forms of coastal rowing from Learn to Row up to World Championship level competition. 4: RowFit land training to get fit for rowing; with personal and team training and coaching support; 5) Community Rowing programmes for seniors; adaptive; youth and clinically vulnerable.
The Academy also partners and supports the Coastal Rowing Academy Club, a Rowing Club that provides access to all the CRA coaches and resources to support rowing development across all forms of recreational, event based and competition rowing.
