Baťa Rowing Expedition is a unique rowing holiday designed for masters, recreational and touring rowers who want to experience rowing in a different way – slower, deeper, shared and meaningful.
Set in the heart of Europe, this expedition takes you along the historic Baťa Canal in South Moravia, Czech Republic. Originally built in the 1930s as an industrial waterway, the canal today offers calm waters, beautiful landscapes, technical heritage and authentic Central European atmosphere – perfect conditions for leisure rowing.
During a one-week journey, participants row approximately 110–120 km on flat, sheltered water. Crews stay together on the same boat, creating strong team spirit and shared memories. This is not a race and not a training camp. It is rowing as a journey – focused on enjoyment, connection and discovery.
The program combines daily rowing stages with carefully selected stops featuring local gastronomy, Moravian wines, regional culture and history. Evenings are relaxed and social, often spent together over dinner, wine and stories from the day on the water.
The expedition is fully organized and suitable for experienced recreational rowers and masters. Airport pickup from Vienna is included, as well as logistical support throughout the entire route. From arrival to departure, participants are taken care of with personal attention and professional organization.
Bata Rowing Expedition is ideal for clubs, groups of friends or individual rowers looking for a high-quality rowing holiday that blends sport, culture and authentic local experience.
