Join the RowTours team in a mini-rowing vacation ahead of the World Rowing Championships in Austria during August/September.  Choose from a 3, 4 or 6 day rowing tour down the Danube river starting in Passau and ending at Linz in time for the World Rowing Championships.

Going to the Worlds?

Have you ever dreamt of going to the World Rowing Championships? In 2019 it will be in Linz, Austria. We want to make your dream bigger and better. How about arriving to watch the World Championships by boat – specifically in a rowing boat?

Touring rowing is a great way to have an active rowing holiday while also taking in the sights as you travel. The RowTours team has designed 3, 4 and 6 day packages. All include Danube rowing before the Worlds begin. There’s a full luxury package and also a low budget, high fitness package where you’ll row 50 kilometers a day for two days. And a cycling package for the non-rowers who want to summit Kitzbuhel, Edelweiss and Hinterglemm.

The holiday includes accommodation, meals and airport transfers from Vienna or Salzburg. And importantly, once you get to the World Championships they’ll also give you a bike so you can ride to the course each day.

RowTours is run by Pete Wells, a British rowing Olympian. He has designed rowing adventures, holidays, challenges and bespoke rowing camps to suit all budgets and all ages.
