“I think many people would like to hear Amanda’s vision for growing and diversifying the sport,” said our guest host, Jim Dietz. “For many years we have been viewed as an elitist sport coming from prep school and Ivy League rowing. In the past 25 years thanks to Title IX we have seen exponential growth in our sport especially on the women’s side. Amanda was one of the first to benefit from that legislation. Now we need to grow the sport in more diverse ways. This is what Amanda has been successful at at Row NY.”
